Bengals Confirm Talks with Pacman Jones, Downplay Significance

Cincinnati Bengals coach Marvin Lewis isn’t denying that the team has spoken to Adam “Pacman” Jones’ agent, but also significantly downplayed the significance of the conversations.

“Adam’s agent can’t help but speak with him since he calls quite a bit,” Lewis said, per Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer. “That would be a true statement that Adam made. I have not spoke with Adam but his agent does call and we have returned the call. We’ll see what happens. If somebody we feel can help us then we’ll continue to look.”

Whether the talks go anywhere remains to be seen.

In an interview last week Jones stated that the Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers and Jacksonville Jaguars were also interested in him.
