Looking to gain a leg up in the kicking game, the Cincinnati Bengals announced a few shake-ups in their roster
Tuesday.
Going into week 13, the 2-9 team announced that kicker Aaron Pettrey (Ohio State), who was signed as a free
agent on Nov. 16 has been waived after kicking in the last two games.
The Bengals have signed free agent Clint Stitser (Fresno State) to fill Pettrey's spot. The 6' 1", 200 pound NFL
rookie played in just one preseason game for the Seattle Seahawks where he made his lone field goal attempt
from 35 yards and went three-for-three on PATs.
Stitser signed with the Seahawks in August after being waived by the New York Jets on June 1. In his time at
Fresno State between 2004 and 2007, he made 37 of 52 field goal attempts and scored 223 total points.
Changes were also made to the practice squad as the Bengals signed linebacker Tim Knicky and fullback James
Davelin while releasing rookie fullback Joe Tronzo.
The Bengals take on the New Orleans Saints (8-2) at Paul Brown Stadium Sunday, Dec. 5 at 1 p.m.
