As this year’s Super Bowl week festivities continue, one
thing has become clear: Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad
Ochocinco is a master of 21-st century marketing.
He understands publicity, social media and fan interaction
better than any athlete in America.
He’s the talk of the Super Bowl, creating a week’s worth of
buzz for himself and the telecommunications company Motorola;
perhaps more valuable than a $2.5 million 30-second Super Bowl
commercial could ever bring.
At the media day on Tuesday number 85 sent out fellow NFL
players as correspondents for the Ochocinco News Network.
Including reporters Darnell Dockett of the Arizona Cardinals,
Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice and Chris Cooley of the
Washington Redskins.
The OCNN is a concept Ochocinco began tweeting about earlier
this summer after he scooped a few members of the elite NFL
